This Privacy Policy explains how Franchise Africa Network ("We", "Us", or "Our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects your personal data when you install, register for, or interact with the Franchise Africa mobile application (iOS & Android, Bundle ID: com.franchise.africa) and related website platforms.

We collect information to provide, secure, and improve our multi-track franchise management services:

Personal Account Identifiers: Legal Full Name, Primary Email Address, Mobile Phone Number.
Security Credentials: Hashed 6-Digit Numeric Security PIN.
Franchise Application Details: Selected Franchise Brands (BuySolar, FirstCare, BuyHarvest, Kiyah, Flenjo), Franchise Track Models, Target Contribution Budgets, and Application Approval Status.
Financial Deposit Records: Transaction reference IDs, capital deposit amounts, Byte NGN virtual account numbers, payment timestamps, and deposit window status. (Note: Raw bank account passwords or full credit card numbers are processed directly by licensed payment gateways and are never stored on our servers).
Technical & Device Data: Device model, OS version, Expo push notification token, IP address, and application log error data.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your personal data is processed strictly for the following legitimate business purposes:

To verify your identity and authenticate mobile session logins across all 5 participating brand networks.
To process franchise applications and display live track approval status (Approved, Active, Pending, Rejected, Closed).
To generate Byte virtual NGN deposit bank accounts for capital funding.
To enforce 48-hour deposit countdown timers and auto-logout security protocols for closed accounts.
To send critical push notifications regarding application status changes, deposit confirmations, and system updates.

4. Multi-Brand Backend Data Architecture

The Franchise Africa application connects to 5 backend web portals (**BuySolar**, **FirstCare**, **BuyHarvest**, **Kiyah**, and **Flenjo**). When you apply for a track or check status, query requests are authenticated securely using your email or phone number across these 5 servers. Your data is never sold, leased, or traded to unauthorized third parties.

5. Data Security & Storage

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards:

All HTTP network transmissions are encrypted using 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption protocol.
Local mobile session tokens (`frn_token` and `frn_user`) stored via `AsyncStorage` are isolated within the sandbox container of `com.franchise.africa`.
Security PINs are stored using secure salted password hashing algorithms.

6. Third-Party Service Integrations

Our mobile app integrates with trusted third-party providers:

Byte Payments (Byte Africa): Handles virtual account generation and NGN deposit processing.
Expo / EAS (App Infrastructure): Facilitates app updates, push notifications, and build deployment.

7. User Data Erasure & Account Deletion Policy

In compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play Store data control guidelines, users have full rights to request complete deletion of their account and associated personal data.

How to Request Account Deletion:

In-App Deletion: Open the Franchise Africa app → navigate to Profile Tab → scroll down → tap "DELETE / CLOSE FRANCHISE ACCOUNT". Confirm your password/PIN. This immediately initiates an automated API call across all 5 backend brand networks (`buysolar`, `buyharvest`, `firstcare`, `kiyah`, `flenjo`), updates all registered tracks to Closed status, wipes local storage tokens, and logs you out permanently.

Email Request: If you cannot access the app, email privacy@buysolar.africa or admin@buysolar.africa from your registered email address with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Your account and personal records will be purged within 48 hours.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your franchise account remains active or as required by financial regulations to maintain transaction history. Upon executing an account deletion, your personal identity profile is anonymized or permanently purged from our active user databases across all participating track portals.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended strictly for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
